Gator Muffaletta's

I have tried this with a variety of different meats.  I have found Insta-Gator Ranch Tail meat to work the best.

  • Insta-Gator Ranch brand Alligator Tail meat, sliced very thin.
  • Mozzarella cheese slices.
  • Provalone cheese slices. 
  • Olive salad.
  • Muffaletta roll (or Kaiser roll).

Pan sear sliced Tail meat in a frying pan with olive or peanut oil.  Season with Tony Chachere's or Zatarain's (these can be purchased at Rouse's.  Please know that alligator is a very lean meat with hardly any fat.  Which is just the opposite of Boudreaux's wife.  That woman is so fat, she has to wake up in sections.

Place roll slices on a broiler pan cover with tin foil sprayed lightly with a non-stick oil.  Generously scoop olive salad.  I like the olive salad they sell at Rouse's Grocery store.  If they don't have a Rouse's by you, or are unable to locate Tony Chachere's or Zatarain's seasoning,  I suggest you move.

Add cooked Tail meat, top with cheese slices.

Place under broiler until cheese is bubbly.  Delicieux!
